Memories of the future
A participatory eco-poiesis artistic experience
Join artist Roseline de Thélin @ ART LAB IBIZA
Saturday 27th of April between 4pm & 9pm
to co-create a world map collage for the future the Opuntiae Cactus.
Location: 33 Calle de las Margaritas - Siesta - Santa Eulalia del Rio - Ibiza
It will be an opportunity to get together, create and connect in an open creative space. You can join the experience any time between 11am and 6pm for an hour or more … You only need to bring your imagination and your presence.
This collective participatory artwork will complete Roseline's artistic #EcoPoiesis project ‘Memories of the future’ imagining possible and impossible futures for this endangered cactus and its predator/partner the cochineal.
This project is part of the women artists collective @SoS_Cochichumbas to raise awareness about the disappearance of our beautiful prickly pears cactus on the island.
Children above 7 can join if accompanied by an adult for the experience. There will be snacks, drinks and teas.
This is a free event but please confirm your attendance as space is limited.

About Art Lab
Art lab Ibiza is an experimental gallery and an open space for community art events, art laboratories and artistic research or conversations with collaborative artists.
Art Lab is born from the joy of holding space for artistic creative processes. This 120 m2 gallery and studio space is located in the small town of Santa Eulalia on the island of Ibiza in Spain.
Art Lab offers a program of art residency for in situ artistic projects and creative coaching for artists.
Art Lab also hosts and promotes a program of creation workshops from artists and teachers of all artistic disciplines bridging contemporary visual arts, digital media, sound, music, improvisation, dance & performance.
Art Lab's goal is to support the arts and promote creative expression. This is a non-profit project founded by Roseline de Thélin, artist, curator, creative coach, expressive arts teacher and art therapist.
