Digital Collections & NFTs

The Dreamscapes digital series are composed through processes of deconstructions and reconstructions similar to hypnagogia. I use digitality to fragment, layer, juxtapose and glitch photographic images coming from my daily life.  Dreamscapes combine analogues and digital textures or patterns I create with images from fortuitous moments, life time lapses of synchronicities. These digital compositions are altered and transformed, bypassing the control of the conscious mind, until they shape into an imaginary landscape that can be figurative or abstract, or a hybrid of both. They invite the viewer to wander into their own  imagination, associations and interpretations.

The rapid digital flow of experimentations associated with repetitive processes of deconstructions and reconstructions creates a fertile incubator for my creative process, allowing new and unexpected aesthetic possibilities to emerge. Accidents become instrumentalized and inspire new works. I see this digitalised process in direct continuity with the surrealist and fluxus movements, allowing a direct outpour from the rich unconscious layers of the psyche through free associations.

I have created two NFTs collections this year on OpenSea: Chaosmos Dreamscapes & Chaosmos Lightscapes. Works are also available in limited editions of seven, in Giclee prints on archival paper or light boxes.
